APBD Absorption Target Remains 97 Percent This Year

The Jakarta Provincial Government remains determined to achieve 97 percent of budget-spending in this year even though the last year's target was missed. The regional working unit (SKPD) is asked to maintain and run the program well . Jakarta Governor, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo said so.

"I'm upset with last year's budget-spending level which only 83 percent out of total budget Rp 51 trillion. This year achievement must be better," Jokowi said, Friday (4/10).

According to him, the regional working units must run the existing program as soon as possible, and evaluate programs that were postponed to be included in re-arrangement of city budget.

The 2014 APBD will Soon Be Announced

The governor admitted that awareness in spending this year budget must be maintained well. Starting this year, the budget-spending will be protected especially for agencies with bigger allocation. Up to April 8, the budget-spending of city government was only 4.56 percent.
