Channel on Jalan Marunda Baru III Dredged

Due to mud and trash, as many as 15 PPSU officers dredged a water channel on Jalan Marunda Baru III, RW 04 Marunda Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district, North Jakarta. They managed to pick up 350 sacks of mud and trash. The dredging aims to minimize puddle during rain.

Marunda Urban Village Head, Hilda Damayanti said dredging is carried out in the channel as wide as half a meter and 300 meters long. Previously, water in the channel was often overflowed and inundated street as high as 10 centimeters.
"We do dredging to follow up public complaint regarding mud and trash in the channel at Jalan Marunda Baru III. They worry it would overflow if it was not dredged. We hope, after dredging, locals could maintain its cleanliness," she closed, Monday (2/22).
