Basuki Doesn't Tolerate Drug Trafficking

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama asserted will not tolerate drug trafficking in the capital. It has been proved by closing down Stadium disco some time ago.

"So I emphasize, I have never questioned prostitution in Jakarta. If drugs, I do not tolerate," he disclosed, City Hall, Monday (2/22).

Entertainment Venues Asked to Be Aware of Drug Trafficking

He has even issued a rule, if the drug circulation is found in entertainment venues twice, it will immediately be closed down.

"Our rule is not about trading, but if you were caught using drugs twice, I will close down your business. We must firmly," he expressed.

After closing down Stadium, he assessed, drug trafficking became quiet. Surely, this frightens the other entertainment venues.

According to him, it is different with prostitution. However if there is found drugs transaction in hotels or entertainment venues, they will be closed down.

"If there is prostitution practice, we will just send warning letter, such as apartment and hotel. I do not need to close down them, right?," he closed.
