Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat is ready to combat drug trafficking. Moreover, the data of Jakarta National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) mentioned that drug user in capital is reaching 350,000, by the age of 10-50 years old.

“That’s why, there must be cooperation with National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) to combat drug. I'm ready to fight it,” he said, after he welcomed Head of BNNP, Brig. Gen. Iwan Abdullah Ibrahim at City Hall, Thursday (10/8).

Djarot acknowledged that drug is an extraordinary crime that must be eradicated. According to him, drug eradication is not merely by rehabilitation way but cut its circulation.

“Drug problem isn’t only rehabilitation matter, but prevention and eradication are most important,” he asserted.
