Healthcare Service in Jakarta Shouldn't Discriminate

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat asserted, healthcare service provision for resident should not discriminate. He assessed, health insurance and medical care is the responsibility of the government.

Healthcare service should not be discriminated. So everything has to be served

"Healthcare service should not be discriminated. So everything has to be served," said Djarot, at City Hall, Tuesday (2/23).

Djarot pointed out, people infected with HIV virus, should be prevented from suffering from AIDS. Therefore, hospital services should not distinguish the type of the patient's disease. Even hospitals in Jakarta should provide privacy service for patients with HIV and AIDS.

Blind People Must Get Healthcare Service, Djarot Says

"If the patient is in need of special treatment, we can provide it. It has been provided in several hospitals," he uttered.
