The Jakarta Statistics Bureau (BPS) has released the 2013 Index of Social Insecurity Potency (IPKS). According to the data, there were 10 urban villages with high social insecurity potency out of total 267 urban villages in Jakarta . Kampung Rawa urban village in Central Jakarta was the highest social insecurity level by 44.78 percent.

Reffered to this data, Kampung Rawa urban village officials are immediately reacted to improve. Various breakthrough is promoted to the residents whose averagely have low income. The officials are also intensively creating various courses such as cooking, computer, and handmade accessories in order to increase residents' income.
Sri Budiati, Kampung Rawa urban Village chairwoman, said the main reason of high social insecurity in her area is unemployement or low income residents. The unemployement resident reached 5 percent.

Last year, BPS had done the arrangement of Social Insecurity Index in 267 urban villages.
Ten urban villages with high social insecurity potency were Kampung Rawa, Galur, Tanah Tinggi, and Kartini (C. Jakarta), Kali Baru, Penjaringan, Ancol, and Lagoa (N. Jakarta), Kampung Melayu (E. Jakarta), and Manggarai (S. Jakarta).
