The effort to clean cable skin from channel on Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan remains continued. Personnel need a week to clean the channel.
It is hoped could be done in two days
Dicky Suherlan, Central Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Public Works for Water Management, admitted personnel must enter the channel alternately due to low air.
“Only two personnel are able to enter the channel, while the others supporting from above,” he said, Tuesday (3/1).
Cable Skin Caused Puddle on Jalan Medan MerdekaAccording to him, there are three trucks of cable skin need to be transported from the channel. Total 12 trucks have transported cable skin in last week.
“It is hoped could be done in two days,” he added.
