Bus School Freelancer Wage Disbursed Earlier

Hundreds freelancers (PHL) serving under School Transportation Management (Upas) for Jakarta Transportation Dept are routinely receiving wage since January. Even, in February, they received wage disbursement  per-1st, which is earlier than before.

Principally, if civil servant has received salary, we will pay freelancer on the same date

Head of Upas for Jakarta Transportation Dept, Mohammad Insaf said, 302 freelancers have received wage via bank account on March 1. 

Salary Payment of PHL Becomes Assessment for Official

"Principally, if civil servant has received salary, we will pay freelancer on the same date. It aims to give spirit and motivation in works," he expressed, Tuesday (3/1).

Those freelancers consist of 132 drivers, 132 supporting drivers, eight field officers, and seven administration officers. While the rest 15 people are vehicle washers and eight others are mechanics.

Those were been registered in Healthcare and Social Security Agency (BPJS Kesehatan) and Workers Social Security Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan). If they are in overtime, they will get Rp 16 thousand per hour.

"Alhamdulillah (Thank God), the wage can already be disbursed in early month," said Ardi (20), one of freelancers.
