Jakarta Police chief Ins. Gen. Tito Karnavian admitted his side is still investigating the finding of cable skin inside water channel on Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan. His side has formed a special team together with Sub-dept. of Water Management and PLN to reveal this case.

Responding about sabotage issue, he denied to comment since investigation is not finished yet.
Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama also denied to give his statement about this case.
