Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama requested Jakarta Dept. of Water Management to stop using Netherlands’ procedure in operating Manggarai sluice gate.

It is because the water is only flowed to West Flood Canal (KBB) and often inundated the surrounding areas.
