Jakarta Dept. of Health’s data shows dengue fever patient in Jakarta reached 2,600 people, and five of them passed away.

Kelapa Gading Timur cases were 65 and Setiabudi 62 cases

Koesmedi Priharto, department’s head, said the data is taken from five city administration areas without Seribu Islands.

“Kelapa Gading Timur cases were 65 and Setiabudi 62 cases. Mostly are in elite area,” he said, Friday (3/4).

According to him, the number of wiggler hunter (jumantik) is not enough to prevent dengue fever spread. That is why he asked residents to hunt wiggler without jumantik support.

“One house is one jumantik,” he added.

He hoped jumantik schedule in Wednesday and Friday could decrease the case number.
