Rawajati residents, Pancoran, South Jakarta requested for sheet pile construction for Ciliwung river which is near their residential.
I hope sheet pile construction could be realized for the sake of our residential
The effort is aimed to prevent river’s overflow to their houses during rainy season.
Siti Aminah (49), one of residents, admitted the overflow is not caused by rain intensity, but floodwater from Bogor.
Sentiong Sheet Pile Fixed“I hope sheet pile construction could be realized for the sake of our residential,” she said, Sunday (3/6).
Another resident, Komarudin (33), said this year’s flood was not too bad compared to previous years since Jakarta Provincial Government has dredged the river.
Previously, river’s overflowed flooded houses in RW 07 Gang Bina Warga, Rawajati, Sunday (3/6) morning by 10-25 cm.
