Visiting PBNU, Jokowi Discusses Land Dispute

Jakarta Governor, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo visited the office of the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) on Jalan Kramat Raya, Central Jakarta, Monday (4/14). Jokowi also stressed that the activity has nothing to do with his nomination as presidential candidate, yet it was only to discuss the preparation of NU National Conference (Munas) and land disputes.

"We just discuss the preparation land dispute and NU Munas," asserted Jokowi, at PBNU office, Central Jakarta, Monday (4/14).
He added that such meeting was to discuss the NU Munas scheduled to be held on May 9-11, 2014 at Al-Hamid Cilangkap Boarding School, East Jakarta, because the area is in Jakarta.

Jokowi also discussed solutions for land dispute in Slipi, West Jakarta, between the PBNU with Jakarta Provincial Government. The land near Taman Anggrek Mall is belonging to PBNU, then taken over by Jakarta government. Currently, the land is used as a park and then there was problem. That is why, the meeting held to look for solution.
"We've met three times, but the problem does not solved yet. Through the meeting, we hope could look for solution to solve the problem," he uttered.
