Flood, Cawang Citizens Park Vehicle on Roadside

Flood that inundates RW 01 and 02 Cawang Urban Village, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, causing local citizens park their vehicle on the roadside.

Based on Beritajakarta.com, Thursday (3/10), the access road that still inundated as high as 20-40 centimeters is very harming locals. They had to park vehicle next to public cemetery until in front of citizen home and an empty land at RT 09/02 Cawang.

Rusli, (38), a citizen of RW 02 expressed, since Monday (3/7), such condition has been done for many years when flood occurs.

"During flood, we always park vehicle on roadside and empty land. At night, we do patrol in turns. Alhamdulillah (Thank God), it is still from safe from theft," he told, Tuesday (3/10).

According to him, security is done independently. If there are foreigners approaching motorcycle parking, it will easily be known.

"We do not charge a fee for parking," he stressed.
