Fire Destroys Used Goods Warehouse in Kayu Putih

Fire gutted an used goods warehouse belongs to Ahmad (60) on Jalan Pulomas Selatan, RT 16/07, Kayu Putih, Pulogadung, East Jakarta today, Saturday (3/12), at around 8 AM. Allegedly, it was due to electricity short-circuit and loss material reached Rp 400 million.
No casualty reported in the incident
Seeing this, local residents were immediately trying to put out the flames, but they failed because of many flammable items inside, such as wood, beam, zinc until drums containing chemical liquid. And then the fire continues to grow up.
Luckily as many as 13 fire trucks of East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept arrived at the scene and managed to control the flames around one hour.
