Elevated Transjakarta Lane Project Reaches 54 Percent

The construction of elevated Transjakarta corridor XIII Tendean-Ciledug, as long as 9.3 km, has reached 54.6 percent. It is targeted the project to finish in December 2016.

54.6 percent is total progress from last year up to today. So far so good

“54.6 percent is total progress from last year up to today. So far so good,” said Yusmada Faizal, Jakarta Head Dept. of Bina Marga, Monday (3/14).

According to him, some spots have started to install box girder. He is optimistic the project would finish on time even though there is still problem on land buying process in some locations.

Damaged Road Impacted by Corridor XIII Repaired

Yusmada will request developer to construct escalator in each shelter of Transjakarta corridor XIII. Based on early design, pedestrian bridge is still using stairs.

“The fund is taken from developer. They also maintain and operate the escalator,” he added.
