City to Take Over Lenggang Jakarta Monas

Jakarta Provincial Government is about to take over Lenggang Jakarta management in Monas. This plan would be realized in July 2016.

It means Jakarta Provincial Government will pay the cleanliness, electricity and security.

“Now Lenggang Jakarta is managed by private. We’ll take it over in July,” said Basuki T. Purnama, Jakarta Governor, Monday (3/14).

Lenggang Jakarta to Be Established in Kemayoran

According to him, this way would ease competition with street vendors especially the price. His side would give subsidy for security, cleanliness, and electricity.

Traders in Lenggang Jakarta will be also evaluated. Turnover standard is applied to measure visitor’s interest.
