SMS Gateway of Cengkareng Puskesmas (SigaReng) launched by Jakarta Provincial Government has significant result for diabetes patients. The number of patients getting medical treatment increases.

Now the number increases up to 75 percent

Koesmedi Priharto, Jakarta Head Dept. of Health, admitted the system is created to increase diabetes patients getting medical treatment in puskesmas. Based on last year’s data, there was 35 percent out of 600 patients came to puskesmas to get medical treatment.

“Now the number increases up to 75 percent,” he said, Monday (3/14).

He hoped patients awareness to get treatment could be better through this service.
