sub-district puskesmas.
"You can check up your health in puskesmas for free. Including blood check-up by using
sophisticated device," he expressed.
However, he shared his experience when he served as Mayor of Blitar in which his
blood sugar level increased to 115 mg. Although it was not categorized as diaebetes, but his blood sugar remains high.
"This is my experience that my blood sugar rose 115 mg. I
immediately change my lifestyle by holding on healthy lifestyle. I always do check-up routinely every 3-6 months," he explained.
Separately, he continued, the healthy walk event held in commemoration of the International
Diabetes Day which joined by 5,000 participants. It is held by the
Ministry of Health, which is celebrated every
November 14.
