Low maintenance on water reservoirs owned by residents of RW 09, Pegadungan Urban Village, Kalideres Sub-District, West Jakarta, has caused their neighborhood is very vulnerable to mosquito breeding and dengue fever disease.

RW 09 Chairperson, Biriadi said that local residents had to accommodate rainwater in their homes, because residential areas have not been equipped by PAM. It surely triggers mosquitoes lay their eggs in the water reservoir.

Responding on this matter, Kalideres Sub-District Head, Ahmad Ya'la expressed his side would check the location next week. Regarding mosquitoes problem during activity of anti-mosquito campaign (PSN), he also often conducts socialization by mounting stickers to each home.

"We will send a letter to the PDAM soon about PAM channels installation. If not, dengue disease would be rampant," he stressed.
