Based on Beritajakarta.com’s observation, damaged sidewalks are easily found on Jalan Tanjung Duren Raya, Arteri Panjang, Daan Mogot, Palmerah Barat, Jalan Jelangkeng and around Kota Tua including Fatahilah museum.
Sidewalks occupied by street vendors are around Fatahilah museum, Petak 9, Glodok, and Pasar Pagi Asemka.
Sidewalk Alongside Jalan Manunggal Juang Arranged“We have no comfort walking along the sidewalk. It also stinks,” said Nafie (29), one of pedestrians around Fatahilah museum, Taman Sari, West Jakarta, Tuesday (3/15).
Asril Marzuki, West Jakarta Administration Secretary, admitted
many damaged sidewalks found easily in his area.“We’ll improve the condition soon especially in Kota Tua which becomes our priority,” he stated.
