After demolishing 64 illegal buildings, a number of trees will be planted along connecting channel of Agung Barat 1, RW 10, Sunter Agung Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district, North Jakarta.

Tanjung Priok Sub-district Secretary, Didit Mulyadi disclosed that Agung Barat 1 channel is a green belt. All this time, the channel was strewn with illegal building to open business like food, coffee stall, etc.

"That's why we did dredging there and continued with tree planting as illegal building anticipatory," he stated, Wednesday (3/16).

Previously, such buildings were demolished by North Jakarta Water Management Public Works Sub-dept using shovel.
