Jakarta Governor Basuki T Purnama disclosed that Mampang Prapatan area, South Jakarta needs absorption well. This is because the channel does not arranged well thus flood often happens.

"Flood in Mampang is not floodwater, but it is due to illegal building from Kemang and untidy channel structure. That's why absorption well is needed," he stated, at City Hall, Wednesday (3/16).

He asserted, the location needs wells with large capacity, thus it can be more helpful. There are many obstacles if it will be constructed. 

"This is because the area has been established many buildings in Mampang. No wonder, flood easily happens," he finished.
