City Is Optimistic to Ratify 2017 APBD On Time

At least we would already have 2017 APBD on December 31. Considering the entire process is already scheduled well

The city administration is optimistic could ratify 2017 City Budget (APBD) on time. This is because, the drafting of city working plan (RKPD) has been conducted and targeted to be completed in the upcoming May.

Jakarta Development Planning Board (Bappeda), Tuty Kusumawati expected that his party will try to ratify 2017 APBD on time, because all the stages already started at the beginning and also has drawn up a schedule of all the discussions.

"At least we would already have 2017 APBD on December 31. Considering the entire process is already scheduled well," she stated, during Public Consultation Forum for drafting of 2017 RKPD, at City Hall, Thursday (3/17).

Its drafting is coincided with the preparation of Regional Development Planning Forums (Musrenbang) at urban village level. Musrenbang held gradually until province level. It is targeted could be held on April 14.

She added that this year's musrenbang has used electronic system. Thus public proposal has been included through e-musrenbang in detail.

"With e-musrenbang, will help to monitor the budget flow and be connected with e-budgeting," she added. 

After RKPD is drafted, her party will draft APBD's policy and city's budget priorities and preliminary thresholds (KUA-PPAS) will be submitted to Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) in the second week of June.
