"APBD should not be leaking. If it is leaking, all civil servant secrets will be revealed," he expressed, at City Hall, Thursday (3/17).
He cited, one thing that could make budget leak, that is like street vendors (PKL), who sells with hazardous substance. Because of the hazardous substances, can cause cancer if it is consumed frequently.
City Is Optimistic to Ratify 2017 APBD On Time"We do not want to see street vendor who sells food containing hazardous substance that can cause cancer disease. If the cancer attacks people, our money will leak," he told.
Hence, Jakarta Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives Dept (KUMKMP) asked to involve the Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) to monitor street vendor. Because the more people who go to the hospital, the government will spend a lot of money.
"Sick person will definitely be covered by BPJS, that means our hospital will leak its budget. That's why, the mindset should be the same," he stated.
Basuki added that the vision and mission of the government is prospering Jakarta residents. If it could be run, the budget will not leak.
