500 Personnel of Satpol PP Ready to Secure Demonstration Today

As many as 500 personnel of Jakarta Satpol pp are ready to secure demonstration that will be conducted by public transport today, Tuesday (3/22). They will be spread at vital points, such as Presidential Palace, DPR/MPR Building, and Jakarta City Hall.

"We send 500 personnel and will be spread and help the police to secure demonstration today," said Head of Jakarta Satpol PP, Jupan Royter, Tuesday (3/22).

Of the 500 personnel, 300 out of them are sent to the palace, 100 personnel to City Hall and the 100 other personnel to several vital points.

"Especially at City Hall, we also prepare additional security from police," he told.

According to him, Satpol PP is only supporting the police. Because the security duty lies in the police. He asked public transport driver to hold demonstration orderly.

It is compliance with five-point orderly, ranging from demonstration, traffic, residential, street vendor and trash orderly.

"I hope the demonstration could run orderly and the demonstrator prohibited to damage public facilities. If it happens, we will process the actor," he asserted.
