29 Jakarta Officials Are Demoted

Due to unoptimal performance, as many as 29 echelon II and IV officials under Jakarta Provincial Government are demoted, Wednesday (3/23). While 47 other officials get promotion.

We do demotion in accordance with employee performance

Based on Jakarta Regional Employee Agency (BKD), there are 124 officials demoted, comprising 15 echelon III officials and 109 echelon IV officials. From that number, 47 officials get promotion and 77 officials are rotated.

"We do demotion in accordance with employee performance," he told, when he inaugurated hundreds officials, at City Hall, Wednesday (3/23).

Saefullah asserted promotion and rotation are not related with money, but purely. Thus it is hoped, in future, they could keep improving performance in serving public.

"This is purely and there is no thank-you note and political money. We had set it two years ago," he told.

He reminds civil servant do not go home on time, considering high regional performance allowance (TKD).

"Our TKD is pretty high. It should be accompanied by good performance. So, don't go home on time," he uttered.
