Rp 4 Trillion Prepared for Initial Investment of LRT

The city administration is preparing Rp 4 trillion for initial investment of Light Rail Transit (LRT). While the rest Rp 1 trillion will be covered by State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN).

We will prepare Rp 4 trillion for the initial. Later on, Wika will provide Rp 1 trillion

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama said, LRT construction will be submitted to PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro). Later on, PT Jakpro will join with BUMN, namely PT Waskita Karya (Wika).

"We will prepare Rp 4 trillion for the initial. Later on, Wika will provide Rp 1 trillion," he stated, after conducting the coordination meeting in the building of Coordinating Economic Minister, Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta, Thursday (3/24).

International-Standard for LRT Rail, Basuki Says

He stated, Rp 5 trillion is the initial investment, from total investment could reach trillions rupiah. "With an initial investment, we can continue the project," he stated.

Later on, the budget is taken from 2016 APBD by giving the government capital participation (PMP) to PT Jakpro. LRT type that will be built have been approved in the coordination.
