PD Dharma Jaya Ready to Import Australian Cow

To ensure meat supply approaching Ramadan, the city administration plans to import beef from Australia. As Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD), PT Dharma Jaya is supporting and ready to realize it.

This is because, until now, meat needs in Jakarta cannot be met by the supply of local cattle,

PD Dharma Jaya Director, Marina Ratna Dwi Kusuma admitted will support such plan. "This is because, until now, meat needs in Jakarta cannot be met by the supply of local cattle," she stated, Wednesday (3/30).

All this time, to meet meat and cow quota, her side will take them from East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). As a result, as many as 2,000 cows and 150 tons of beef can be obtained.

Meat Distribution to Public Is Not Maximal

"We have prepared 150 tons of beef from NTT," she told.

Meanwhile cow from Australia, Economy Ministry will bring 600 thousand cows.
