Cilincing Sub-district, North Jakarta keeps decreasing waste volume. As many as seven state elementary schools (SDN) in Cilincing Sub-district now have waste bank.
Students would get money through waste bank
Those schools are SDN 05 Semper Timur, SDN 02 Sukapura, SDN Semper Timur, SDN 04 Semper Timur, SDN 02 Marunda, SDN 03 Cilincing, and SDN 04 Cilincing.
Head Section of Cleanliness for Cilincing Sub-district, Juhri, said the effort to decrease waste volume has been started from elementary to senior high school.
Marunda Urban Village Provides Waste Bank“Students would get money through waste bank,” he said, Thursday (3/31).
According to him, waste volume in Cilincing Sub-district is 250 tons per day. His side will support other schools providing waste banks.
