No Home, Retired PNS to Be Relocated to the Flat

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama revealed, the flat will be provided to every retired civil servant (PNS) living in the official home who does not have a home. 

If the children have a home, they must move to there. If not, we will prepare the flat

"If the children have a home, they must move to there. If not, we will prepare the flat," he expressed when he led executive meeting (rapim), at City Hall, Monday (4/4).

He wants emptying letter over official home belongs to city administration to them. As for the active PNS, not to sell or lease the flat to third party.

City to Take Over Retired PNS's Official Home

Meanwhile, Jakarta Health Dept Head, Koesmedi Priharto admitted some official homes are mostly used as a dorm by retired PNS.

He plans to control it from Central Jakarta first. There are 41 official homes that will be taken over on April 8.

"Indeed, most of them have been used as rented house or dorm," he said.
