Basuki Signed DPRD's Official Home Allowance

Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T Purnama admitted that he has signed a proposal over increase in official home allowance for Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) member. Nevertheless, it does not yet approved by him because it should go through review process first.

DPRD's Main Ideas Have Been Accomodated in 2016 KUA-PPAS

 

However, the proposal has been included in City Budget (APBD) and 2016 City's Budget Priorities and Preliminary Thresholds (KUA PPAS).He asserted, the review is still under process, because he does not want to make mistakes.

 

“Reviewing is a must. We have to be very careful in making any decisions,” he expressed.

 

He also explains such increase that has been proposed was amounting to Rp 30 million per month from previous proposal by Rp 15 million per month. While for DPRD Chairman’s allowance is Rp 40 million per month from Rp 20 million per month.

 

Anyway, the amount of official’s home allowance is never increasing since 2007. They only receive Rp 15 million per month.
