Related with street vendors protest action about letter of charge to visitors, Firdaus assessed that it is something usual. According to him, there must be pro and contra sides if new policy is released.
Moreover Firdaus added, to control Monas street vendors, he use article number 27 of Tribum regional bill as legal umbrella. Meanwhile, article number 25 used for buyers.
"Article number 27 is only focusing to contradictory vendors. So we are going to use article number 25 to visitors. It means we have to implements both of the articles, whether to street vendors or visitors," he explains.
He hopes, the implementation of Tribum regional bill article number 25 that maintained about sanction for visitors can be effectively implemented as expected.
"I hope the implementation of article number 25 can be effective because visitors did not have allies like Vendors," he added.
He stated, the power of security personnel he has is very limited. So illegal Vendors maintenance in Monas needs commitment and joint moves from every aspects.
