Jakarta Dept. of Bina Marga starts preparing equipment for groundbreaking of Semanggi flyover, South Jakarta. The groundbreaking is planned to take place on Friday (4/8) and attended by Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama.

Yusmada Faizal, Jakarta Head Dept. of Bina Marga, stated the elevated road construction is not using city budget, but developer’s obligation. PT Wijaya Karya (Wika) will handle the project.
Semanggi Flyover Would Parse Traffic Jam“No land buying process since it uses existing land in Semanggi,” he stated.
According to him, the project could take 18 months.
