Basuki Worries Brokers Pestering PTSP System

Jakarta Vice Governor, Basuki T Purnama has finally returned to his activity at City Hall after he underwent sinus surgery for one week in Pluit Hospital. During being treated, Basuki admitted he was always thinking about his job.

We're going to recruit echelon-III A officials. If the performance is good, we will pay and assign them in the urban village or sub-district

"I worry the implementation of the One-Roof Integrated Service (PTSP) system will fail," said Basuki. According to him, there is always interference from brokers in all matters in Jakarta, either in term of service or other. Even, this also involve some echelon-III and-IV officials.

He disclosed that PTSP system which is being implemented, is one way to combat brokering practices. "We're going to recruit echelon-III A officials. If the performance is good, we will pay and assign them in the urban village or sub-district," he stressed.

Jokowi to Overhaul PTSP Employees

In the hospital, Basuki also remains coordinating with Jakarta Governor, Joko Widodo by phone. Thus, the wheels of development in Jakarta can continue to run normally.

As known, Basuki was absent since April 14-16, 2014, due to illness. On Friday (4/12), he left the City Hall earlier than usual, which is around 12 PM.
