31 Illegal Buildings Stood Atop on KBT Controlled

As many as 31 illegal buildings on the edge of East Flood Canal (KBT), RT 01 and 02/RW 08 Pulogebang, Cakung, East Jakarta, Thursday (4/7). They stood atop a land belongs to Jakarta Water Management Dept as wide as 2 hectares. Controlling was led by Mayor of East Jakarta, Bambang Musyawardana.

Bambang disclosed, controlling is conducted because building standing on the government asset. They have been existed more than three years. Commonly, they used as residence, business and rented home.

"We control all buildings standing on government asset. This is surely illegal," he stressed, Thursday (4/7).

Illegal Buildings at Menteng Pulo Cemetery Controlled Today

Such controlling was carried out by 150 joint personnel of Satpol PP, urban village, sub-district, army/police and PPSU. There was no protest from the owner when the officer tried to do controlling.
