It is nearly three months, a landslide occurred at Jalan Kali Sunter, precisely at RT 07/01 Pulogadung, East Jakarta has not been repaired. This avalanche continues to spread to other parts because there has been no handling of related parties.

If it is ignored, the road can collapse

Based on Beritajakarta.com, Friday (4/8), the street condition hit by landslide reached around 30 meters and 1-2 meters wide. It occurred at the edge of river until levee and sheet pile of Sunter River. 

Sikamto, (55), a local citizen expressed, locals worried that landslides could get worse, considering road passed by heavy truck every day. Thus, each vibration, the landslide gradually increases.

"If it is ignored, the road can collapse," he stated.

Citizen hoped, related unit to immediately repair it in order to create the motorist's safety.

Meanwhile, Head of East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept, Ahmad Juani Yusuf disclosed will coordinate with local Water Management Sub-dept because its handling must be integrated. This is considering landslide also hit sheet pile, road, and levee. Especially for road, its authority lies in his unit. But for levee and sheet pile, lies in Water Management Water Management Sub-dept.

"We'll coordinate first. After making access road in Unjung Menteng KBT, we will repair the road due to landslide," he closed.
