Citizens Must Report for Unruly Public Transport

West Jakarta Sub-dept. of Transportation personnel were deployed to all public transport shelter for checking the fare. Citizens are appealed to report if public transport is still applying the old fare.

“The raid is not held at terminal, but also at public transport base such as at Cengkareng intersection, Grogol, and etc,” said Banjar Nahor, head of agency, Friday (4/8).

He added that public transport drivers must use new fare. “No reason for them to apply the old fares. This agreement has been signed between Jakarta Dept. of Transportation and Organda,” he added.

Sanction Could Be Given for Unruly Public Transport

His side will give strict sanction if any public transports are still using old fare. “Sanction could be given in form of ticketing, revoking permit, and grounding,” he closed.
