Panggag Island Citizens Advised Not to Litter on the Beach

Panggang Island Head for North Seribu Islands, Ardani urged his citizens not to litter, especially at the seaside or piled up behind SMA Negeri 69 Pulau Pramuka.

Citizens just throw garbage on roadside, in tubs or bins provided, so we can easily pick up it using motor carts

"Citizens just throw garbage on roadside, in tubs or bins provided, so we can easily pick up it using motor carts," he said, Saturday (4/9).

According to him, such appeal is not because of a visit activity from President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo to Pramuka Island, but in order to avoid garbage heaps and facilitate the monitoring and transporting of garbage.

Many Unlicensed Homestay Found in Pramuka Island

"We hope garbage boat can be operated back, to reduce garbage volume, considering our garbage disposal site is limited," he hoped.

At this time, the boat cannot be operated due to fuel oil problem.
