Six amphibian excavators were deployed to normalize Pakin river, RW 04, Penjaringan, North Jakarta. Normalization was held after demolition of buildings on Monday (4/11) ago.
Sheet pile will be installed after the dredging is completed
Based on Beritajakarta.com’s observation, the heavy equipment dredged the river from mud as well as widened the river.
Suranta, Penjaringan Urban Village Head, admitted Jakarta Dept. of Water Management directly dredged the river after the buildings demolition was completed. The river is deepened up to four meters and widened by 12 meters.
