School Bus App Downloader Has Hit 1,000 Times

Since free school bus application is launched on Saturday (4/9), more than 1,000 people have downloaded the app. This number is believed will continue to increase, considering this app is very useful for students or parents.

Head of School Transport Service Unit (Upas) for Jakarta Transportation Dept, Mohammad Insaf disclosed, until Tuesday (4/19), the number of app downloaders has hit more than 1,000 times. To increase its number, his side will continue to intensify socialization in schools.

"We'll come to schools to do socialization about free school bus app. Thus public is getting to know about school bus," he stated, Tuesday (4/19).

School Bus App Eases Monitoring

According to him, all this time, socialization is only conducted through social media, such as instagram, twitter, facebook and other social media. Majority of residents or students is questioning about Wi-Fi. Hence, he plans to install it in each school bus, cooperating with third party.

At this time, such app has entered third phase. As planned, the fourth phase, its benefits can be more widely. That is can know the point of the bus stops, where bus stops and number of passengers. Including an incident on the bus can also be recorded clearly because the bus is equipped by close circuit television (CCTV) camera.
