Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama, questioned attitude of some ex-Pasar Ikan citizens, North Jakarta who instead chose to stay at the boat. As a matter of fact, Jakarta Provincial Government is already providing the Marunda Flat.

Basuki explains building arrangement in Pasar Ikan is part of the revitalization program planning in Sunda Kelapa Maritime Coastal Tourism Region that included in the concept of the arrangement of the Kota Tua area.

"Kota Tua arrangement that set in Gubernatorial Regulation includes Tongkol, Ekor Kruing, VOC Galangan, Sunda Kelapa Port, Luar Batang until Bahari Museum. So, Jakarta government wants to build a large complex, including Besar Barat River," he finished.
