Jalan Bidara Raya Is Strewn by Garbage

Citizens living in RW 04, Pejagalan Urban Village, Penjaringan Sub-district, North Jakarta are complaining garbage heaps that scattered on Jalan Bidara Raya, precisely in the front corner PT Indo Senyu No 21.

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com's data, garbage that scattered on Jalan Bidara Raya is approximately taking more than 50 meters length with 1 meter height. It makes road space is increasingly narrower.

Wahyu, (41), a citizen of RT 12/04, Pejagalan Urban Village, the land was  a place of temporary garbage disposal site.

"Despite the land was previously used as garbage disposal site, it is still clean every day. But almost a month, garbage is often ignored by people," he stated, Tuesday (4/19).

Head of North Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-dept, Slamet Riyadi expressed that his sub-dept is routinely transporting garbage in such location. He admitted, the land has used as temporary garbage disposal site.

"Every day, we always send one truck to transport garbage there," he told.

He suspected garbage is from local residents. To prevent the same thing, he will coordinate with local RT/RW chairmen and urban village heads.
