South Jakarta Sub-dept. of Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) has vaccinated 2,541 rabies transmitter animals during January to March.
Wild rabies transmitter animals monitoring will still run
Kristrisasi Helenandari, head of agency, admitted the vaccination was focused for dogs, cats, monkeys, and weasels.
In the first semester, vaccination was given for 784 dogs, 1,657 cats, 22 monkeys, and 24 weasels.

According to her, the agency has targeted to vaccine 6,200 animals this year. For residents who have animals should report to local RT/RW caretaker to get vaccine.
“We have maintained Jakarta rabies-free since 2004. Our personnel visited the citizens to give vaccine and it’s free,” she closed.
