City to Build Shelter Integrated with Train Station

Jakarta Provincial Government is about to construct shelter integrated with train station. This project should ease citizens changing from one transportation to another. It would invite people leaving their private vehicle to public transport.

Integrated public transport shelter will be constructed soon

“Integrated public transport shelter will be constructed soon,” said Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama, Wednesday (4/20).

According to him, this project could be realized by managing all public transport fully. Public transports in Jakarta are asked to join with PT Transjakarta.

4 Train Stations Integrated with Transjakarta Bus

Feeder bus from Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi are also asked to join. They will be paid with rupiah per kilometer, just like Transjakarta.

“I told them (feeder bus), can you compete with us. Transjakarta fare is Rp 3,500. If they refuse to join, they will be forgotten,” he added.
