Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat disclosed, flood that hit some regions in South Jakarta and East Jakarta is caused by high rainfall which recently showered the city.

"Including handling effort in North Jakarta, because it is also worsened by tidal wave from the sea," he told.
He added, the current flood already receding faster than before. For handling today, a sudden inspection will be conducted in some points, including Makasar Urba Village, East Jakarta.
