Djarot Is Optimistic This Year's Budget Absorption to Hit 90 Percent

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat disclosed that the budge absorption for Jakarta City Government this year is still ongoing.

We are already on the track actually. I am optimistic, the budget absorption can be exceptional

Therefore, the Home Ministry's data on actual realization of City Budget (APBD) until March 31, 2016 is reaching 8.3 percent and still ongoing until now. 

"We are already on the track actually. I am optimistic, the budget absorption can be exceptional," he stated, at City Hall, Wednesday (4/20).

City Targets Absoprtion of 2016 APBD to Reach 90 Percent

He added, its absorption at the end of this year can reach 90 percent, which is higher or 20 percent than last year. 

"It can hit 90 percent. Because we have taken the first part, and then there is consolidation auction. Last year, despite it was gubernatorial regulation, we could absorb 70 percent," he told.  

Based on Home Ministry's data, the higher budget absorption is achieved by East Java (17.2 percent), followed by Lampung (15.9 percent), North Sulawesi (15.2 percent), South Sumatera (15.1 percent) and West Nusa Tenggara (14.6 percent).
