History Values in Marine Tourism will Be Revived

The city administration will transform Pasar Ikan area, Penjaringan, North Jakarta as a Marine Tourism.

The location will be revitalized, in which the history, social and architecture values will be revived

Head of Jakarta Tourism and Culture Dept, Catur Laswanto disclosed the values of Dutch history in some locations will be revived.

"The location will be revitalized, in which the history, social and architecture values will be revived," he stated, at City Hall, Wednesday (4/27).

Here is Arrangement Concept of Marine Tourism

According to him,  Pasar Ikan area has been included in arrangement of Kota Tua, that is set in Gubernatorial Regulation No. 36/2014. The concept is integrated with Marine Tourism and Luar Batang Mosque.

With total of 334 hectares, such location will be developed into one of the tourist destinations in Jakarta.

"The point is, after controlling, we began to do revitalization for building and restoration for fish auction thus the location will be a marine tourism, with a primary view to the sea," he stated.

By doing so, it is hoped travelers have culture tour alternative and sea in the capital, in addition to Seribu Islands.
