Bukit Duri Relocation to Complete End of May

The relocation of Bukit Duri residents, Tebet, South Jakarta is targeted to complete this month. It means Ciliwung river normalization starting from RW 10 and RW 12 could be started.

South Jakarta Administration has conducted socialization twice to Bukit Duri residents near the river. First was on April 21 and May 2.

Tri Kurniadi, South Jakarta Mayor, appealed the residents to be cooperate for the sake of their welfare.

“Relocation is slated to advance their welfare. Facilities like health and transportation will be given,” he said, Tuesday (5/3).

Tri requested the residents filling registration form to get flat unit. Normalization project should be started in end of May.

Tebet Sub-district Head, Mahludin, explained 400 units are prepared in Rawa Bebek flat. As many as 550 traces are impacted by the project.
