Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama optimistic next year’s junior high school computer-based national exam (UNBK) could be run fully to all school. Basuki will not hold massive procurement for device supporting the exam. He wants to maximize the existing devices.

Devices lending is still the best option rather than buying new ones

“Devices should not be moved from one school to another. It’s to complicated. Students should go where the devices exist,” he said, Monday (5/9).

According to him, if there are junior high schools have no devices for UNBK and must lend from senior high school, it could give benefits for students. Their experience in UNBK would be used for their school orientation.

“Devices lending is still the best option rather than buying new ones,” he closed.
